The everlasting encounter between the sea and the land is captured by the geometrical pattern of the metal structure of the Cliff Console. This abstract composition mirrors the repetition of shapes found in Nature. The console design is balanced by a simple and delicate lacquered top.
Nature’s forms, materials and textures are immortalized in striking fashion in this console design. The structure is moulded in brass casting from magnolia tree branches, providing a function to its natural form. The marble base and top deepens the piece’s connection with earthy materials. The softness of the marble and the ruggedness of the textured brass are a testament of Nature’s paradox: complex, yet simple.
