Samuel Amoia, New York based designer, created an exclusive seven piece collection of amazing crushed stone tables. Samuel Amoia’s passion for interior design originated with his extensive international travel, which has allowed him to see and experience first-hand some of world’s most prestigious living environments. Amoia combines mediums like italian onyx, brass, and gem stones with tables, mirrors and consoles — an application which forms a distinct blend of material tactility and precision.

Exhibited alongside the creations of such designers as Jean Michel Frank, Jean Dunand and Eileen Gray, the pieces in Amoia’s collection are made of crushed semi-precious stones, such as lapis lazuli from India or African red jasper.
Overall, the collection includes pieces that can either stand on their own, or complement each other through a balance between materials and inspired craftsmanship.
A kidney-shaped table, which also uses onyx as a surface and brass-coated legs, attached by small nubs that protrude above the top; a red jasper ‘split kidney-shaped’ console, which is supported by a sequence of rectilinear legs.
Amoia has been named By VOGUE magazine as “one of the Young Interior Designers to watch” and has most recently received the “Rising Talent” award by the prestigous Parisian Maison & Objet Fair. Amoia has recently designed the new Delorenzo gallery space on Madison Avenue, and working on the exclusive Itz’ana Hotel and Residences in Belize, and several other high end residential and commercial projects.
