As you may know, in Beverly Hills the luxury design is no longer a novelty. In a premier location two minutes from The Beverly Hills Hotel, this newly-constructed, contemporary residence created by Ferrugio Design and Associates is a triumph of style and substance, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship, modern design, and extraordinary views from Downtown to the ocean.
A dynamic play of colors and textures pervades the architecture, which features walnut paneled ceilings and walls and distinctive elements such as the dining room.
Automatic sliding doors create a continuous flow from inside to outside, capturing hidden views. The suspended staircase in walnut wood leads from the first floor with the day zone to the upper level, where the bedrooms open onto a wrap-around ribbon terrace covered with green grass.
On the basement level, the climbing plants create a green wall partly concealing the wine cellar, home theatre, wellness area, and the bar in Calacatta marble with a window to watch people swimming in the pool above, as well as a garage for six cars. The striking crescent-shaped infinity pool, 33 meters long, seems almost to flow out onto the hillside.
Minotti was the furniture procurement and supplier for this project, The large living area is furnished with the Powell seating system, arranged in an L-shape around an extra-large low version of the Calder coffee table, and features the highly distinctive shape of the Glover armchair and pouf, with leather upholstery.
Beside the staircase leading to the upper floor, an Ashley pouf, its surface decorated with a delicate sartorial-style diamond motif, is matched with the Joy center table, with a top in fine Issogne marble with its typical green veining.
In the night zone, the Spencer bed, with its sinuous lines and large, comfortable bedhead dominates the bedroom, which also features the Freeman chaise-longue. In the adjacent room, the retro-inspired Aston armchair and sofa are interpreted in a dialogue of different shades of color.
Unobstructed, eye-level vistas encompass Downtown, Century City, and the ocean from an expansive terrace off the main and second level. Ideal for entertaining, the terrace boasts striking fire features, dining and lounge areas, and a distinctive, crescent-shaped 110-foot long infinity pool appears to spill over the hillside.
A showpiece of architectural prowess and luxury design, this singular home offers an elevated living experience in the most desirable enclave of Beverly Hills.
